Seaside West Hook Up

SANDY HOOK - About 4.5 miles out on Sandy Hook is New Jersey's only nude beach, Gunnison Beach. Many flocked here to celebrate Independence Day on a perfect beach day on Thursday, July 4, 2019. From I-5: Take WA State Exit 36 to Hwy 30 West. Follow signs to Ft Stevens State Park campground entrance. If you are using a GPS system please use the Ft. Stevens State Park as a reference. Get Google Directions. Our site had sewer, electricity, and water hook up. The sewer connection at the campsite was a nice plus. The site was level and easy to back in to. The sites were the closest we've been to at a Thousand Trails, with no trees for privacy. What made the Seaside interesting was there wasn't much noise even though the sites were close to each other.

A six day stay

The site was easy to find, with clear signs from the A30. When we arrived we got a very friendly welcome from the site manager. The site itself looked lovely with lots of autumnal colour, being surrounded by woods. The facilities were well maintained and if the weather had been warmer we might well have made use of the barbeque provided, there was a good playground for children. The site was dog friendly with a lovely footpath running away from the site. We didn't need to make use of the shop during our stay but it looked well stocked. Overall it was a very quiet site although there were several other people on site the whole time we were there it felt very spacious and you could not hear the traffic from the A30.

Friendly, Clean and Tidy with Great Facilities

A lovely campsite located in close proximity to all the popular destinations. Facilities were exceptionally clean, the showers were hot and a great pressure. Major supermarkets less than five minutes away with takeaways that deliver through Just Eat. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer which worked well and was easy to use. We needed an extension lead for the electric cable, they were more than happy to supply one free of charge. We were extremely with the campsite, facilities and hosts and will definitely recommend and return ourselves.

Wonderful week

Had the most wonderful week away with my partner and two dogs. Loads of dog friendly areas to walk. Friendly host and very clean showers/toilets. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family and most definitely will be staying in the future again. Highley recommended and great location to visit all the places down south.

Seaside West Hook Update

Amazing stay first time camping

After a horrendous journey down spending 6 hrs on the side of the road, we finally made it to Treglisson. Keri was so lovely and reassuring from the moment i messaged to say we had broken down to the moment we arrived. On arrival we were shown to our pitch and got told they were keeping the shop open a little later incase we needed anything (stiff drink). We finally finished setting up at 10pm. Everything about Treglisson is just fabulous. The staff, the facilities, the campers, everyone was just so lovely and polite. We met some wonderful camping neighbour's who we got friendly with and they reccomend places for us to go and visit as it was our first time in Cornwall. We loved it that much we managed to persuaded my parents to come down and we extend our booking so we left on the Saturday as they arrived. We really did enjoy our first time camping and can't wait to come again and join you next year. Highly reccomend Thank-you once again

Location

Treglisson is located at 11 Wheal Alfred Rd, Hayle, Cornwall TR27 5JT

Getting There

Heading west on the A30, you will come to a large roundabout just outside Hayle. Take the 4th exit into Hayle and at the first mini roundabout turn left (Treglisson is signposted from this roundabout). Travel a mile up the hill, under the bridge, past the golf course and you will see the sign on the left. Turn down the lane and you will find the campsite at the end.

Seaside West Hook Up Tackle

There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill by the mini roundabout and the nearest train station is Hayle. If your train doesn't stop there, the next station is St Erth. Arrangements can be made to collect people from the station or bus stop.
